Developing productive partnerships and collaborations is a key part of the CeNeRx strategy. The company currently has two major collaborations. In 2005, we secured an exclusive license from Krenitsky Pharmaceuticals Inc. to develop their RIMA (Reversible Inhibitors of Monoamine oxidase-A) series of novel triple action antidepressants. More recently, CeNeRx acquired an exclusive worldwide license to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a portfolio of selective cannabinoid agents discovered by Italian research organization PharmaNess Neuroscience. This collaboration includes drug discovery efforts aimed at further expanding our joint cannabinoid portfolio. Creating and nurturing these productive collaborations is a core competency of CeNeRx.
