CeNeRx is developing a balanced portfolio that includes clinical-stage therapeutics for depression, anxiety and epilepsy and an earlier-stage pipeline of candidates for treating pain, glaucoma, spasticity and a variety of other CNS-related conditions. Our product pipeline includes compounds with well-known mechanisms of action and some with partially precedented mechanisms. We access our new drug pipeline through collaborations and partnerships with a variety of drug discoverers and developers. CeNeRx’s most advanced candidate is its novel RIMA (Reversible Inhibitor of Monoamine oxidase-A) antidepressant TriRima™, which is in Phase II clinical development. TriRima is a selective and reversible MAO inhibitor for the treatment of depression. CeNeRx’s HPA axis modulator program, with anxiolytic drug CXB722 and its prodrug Ayrene, is also in clinical development. In addition, CeNeRx is advancing a number of compounds in preclinical development, including a series of selective cannabinoid agents with potential application in pain, spasticity, glaucoma and other CNS disorders.
