CeNeRx BioPharma is a high growth drug development company with a           
                                  therapeutic focus on diseases of the central nervous system. The company    
                                  focuses on identifying  and developing promising therapeutics to treat           
                                  diseases related to neurotransmitters and the nervous system. CeNeRx          
                                  currently has a series of compounds known as RIMAs  (reversible inhibitors     
                                  of monoamine oxidase) in phase I development for the treatment of

Based in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, CeNeRx is lead by a dynamic management
team comprised of experienced commercial and academic leaders.  The CeNeRx team consists of
accomplished professionals who have direct R&D development experience and proven business
development success accessing new compounds. Leading CeNeRx as CEO, Barry Brand brings 16 years
large pharma experience with 11 years in CNS.  As an executive at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Barry
headed up global commercial strategy for GSK's CNS R&D pipeline.  Executive management also
includes Mark Baric (President) who brings extensive experience having started multiple technology
companies.  Heading up operations is Jim Free (COO) who played a significant role in the
development and license of Somerset Pharmaceutical's EMSAM (similar mechanism to CeNeRx's
antidepressant series).  

The scientific team is led by Ranga Krishnan, MD (Chaiman, Psychiatry - Duke University Medical
School) and Charles Nemeroff, MD PhD (Chairman, Psychiatry - Emory University Medical School).  
Drs. Krishnan and Nemeroff co-chair the scientific advisory board.
