Steven A. Elms (Board Chairman)

Managing Director, Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund, LP.  Mr. Elms
serves as a Managing Director of the Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund, L.
P. For five years prior to joining Perseus-Soros, Mr. Elms was a Principal in the
Life Science Investment Banking group of Hambrecht & Quist (now J.P.
Morgan H&Q). During his five years at H&Q, Mr. Elms was involved in over 60
financing and M&A transactions, helping clients raise in excess of $3.3 billion
of capital. Mr. Elms’ primary areas of focus were the genomics and drug
discovery technology sectors. Prior to H&Q, he traded mortgage-backed
securities for two years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. His previous
healthcare sector experience includes over two years as a pharmaceutical
sales representative for Marion Laboratories and two years as a consultant for
The Wilkerson Group. Steve Elms serves as director of Adams Laboratories,
Inc., Ambit Biosciences Corporation, Advion BioSciences, Inc., Bioenvision,
Inc., MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Avera Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Anthony Y. Sun, MD (Board Director)

Principal, Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund, LP.  Dr. Sun serves as a
Principal of the Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund (PSBF). Previously, Dr.
Sun was an entrepreneur co-founding a disease management company for
patients on blood thinners. In addition, Dr. Sun was an Adjunct Instructor of
Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he provided
consulting services to a large managed care organization and investigated
pharmaco-economic issues at the Leonard Davis Institute.  Dr. Sun's
background also includes basic science research at the N.I.H. on calcium ion
channels and medical informatics studies at Albert Einstein Hospital on
clinical information systems in the operating room. Dr. Sun received a B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.D. from Temple
University School of Medicine with A.O.A. honors. In addition, he is a Board
Certified Internist and has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania.
Ting Pau Oei (Board Director)

Partner, L Capital Partners.  Mr. Oei is the head of healthcare investments
for L Capital Partners. With 30 years of experience in the healthcare and
pharmaceuticals industry, Mr. Oei joined L Capital Partners in 2004 Between
1992 and 2004, Mr. Oei worked at Johnson & Johnson Development
Corporation,  Johnson & Johnson's venture capital arm, where he was
involved in more than 50 venture capital investments, including Barrier
Therapeutics Inc., Critical Therapeutics Inc., Immunicon Inc., COR
Therapeutics Inc., Allos Therapeutics Inc.,  Neurocrine Biosciences Inc.,
and Shire Pharmaceuticals Group plc. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson,
Mr. Oei held positions at  Merck & Co., Abbott Laboratories,  and American
Cyanamid. Mr. Oei received a BA in  Economics from Union College (N.Y.)
and an MBA from Columbia Business School.  Ting Pau serves on the Board of
Protez and CeNeRx.
Arthur J. Klausner (Board Director)

Partner, A.M. Pappas & Associates.  Mr. Klausner recently joined AMP&A as
a Partner. From 1990 through February 2004, Mr. Klausner was with Domain
Associates, a venture capital firm specializing in life sciences companies,
serving as a General Partner from 1997 through February 2004. During that
time, he was a board member of Domain portfolio companies such as
Santarus (IPO in 2004), X-Ceptor (acquired by Exelixis), and Altea
Therapeutics, and he was a board observer for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals
(acquired by Johnson & Johnson). Previously, Mr. Klausner spent six years
at Bio/Technology magazine (now Nature Biotechnology), where as Senior
Editor he researched and prepared over 200 articles concerning scientific
and business aspects of applied biology.  Mr. Klausner holds a BA in Biology
from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.
